This is Daisy (black and white) and Maisie (black and tan) - our two new additions to the family.

        They were purchased from a large pet store on Saturday 29th December 2002, much
        against Stephen's wishes! Elizabeth had been asking for a rabbit or guinea pig for ages
        and I thought that we would do better with guinea pigs, so Elizabeth and I went to the
        shop to look at them, to see how much all the equipment would cost, and then found
        ourselves bringing two little piggies home!

        They are quite shy at the moment, and Maisie can give a nasty nip, but I think that is
        more my inexperience at handling them than her fault. I have had to go on a bit of a
        learning curve to find out what they eat and to make sure that they get the right nutrition.
        It's amazing how having cats all my life has meant that I know instinctively what to do
        with them, but with guinea pigs I have no idea!
